CBSE Class 12th Result 2020 DECLARED Today: The Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday released the results without  a merit list due to exceptional circumstances. Students can check all the details about pass percentage, scorecard and how to check results at the official site of CBSE . The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for class 12th Board exams today at its official site http://cbseresults.nic.in which is CBSE’s exam result portal.  Trivandrum region has recorded highest pass percentage at 97.67, Patna region records lowest pass percentage at 74.57. Girls have outshined boys in the examination by over 5 percentage. Breakdown and analysis of the result is available in the live blog.

CONDUCT OF COMPARTMENT EXAMINATION: CBSE will announce the schedule of these examinations subsequently in consultation with the Government of India.

The CBSE Class XII Board Examinations were scheduled to be conducted from 15.02.2020 till 30.03.2020. Due to spread of Covid-19 pandemic, CBSE was forced to cancel examinations scheduled from 19.03.2020 to 30.03.2020 in 12 subjects along with examinations in 11 subjects for students of North-Eastern Delhi.  These exams were re-scheduled to be held from 01 to 15 July 2020.

Students can contact Toll Free Number 1800-11-8004 from 13th July to 27th July 2020 on all days from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm for addressing general queries and psychological issues. 

Though there was not any official confirmation about the same, ABP News sources had said that class 12th result may be declared by today afternoon at the Board’s official site. The results for science, commerce and arts stream students was declared around 12:30 pm at CBSE's official website. Students are advised to keep a tab on the updates and keep checking this space for the latest information. CBSE released scorecard directly without making a prior announcement. So Students are advised to keep refreshing this space for latest updates. 

Students can now see their class 12th results 2020 online at carious official websites, IVRS telephone numbers and as well as applications. Lakhs of students were patiently waiting for the results to be released after the CBSE board decided to cancel the pending exams and provide the results according to the new marking scheme.

Class 10th results:

As per the latest reports, the CBSE is likely to declare class 10th result also by July 15.

Over the past five years, CBSE has been declaring class 12th results before releasing class 10th results.

Merit list may not be announced:

As several states have stopped the practice of releasing merit list of students, speculations  are rife that CSE may also not release the merit list and toppers’ list.

How check your CBSE Class 12th Results 2020

    • Go to the official results link hosted at cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.nic.in

 

    • On the next page enter your exam details like roll number and date of birth.

 

    • Submit the details and check your CBSE Board results for classes 10th and 12th.

 

    • Your result will appear, download and take a print for future reference.



How to check marksheets on DigiLocker

    • Download the Digilocker app on your mobile phones from Google play store/Appstore

 

    • Register your self- for this, you can use the mobile phone number used while filling CBSE application form or Aadhar card number. An OTP will be sent to you.

 

    • Once the OTP is filled, you will be prompted for a security pin

 

    • As directed by the Board, use roll number as security pin

 

    • Log in, check and download your marksheet

 

    • Alternatively, one can digilocker.gov.in to access the marksheet

Among schools, Jawahar Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) and Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) have topped with 98.70 and 98.62 pass percentage.
Among regions, Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram region has recorded the highest pass percentage with 97.67 percent. Bengaluru is at second spot with 97.05 pass percentage, and Chennai is third with 96.17 pass percentage.

This year total of 88.78 percent of students have passed, an increase of 5.38 percent from last year. This year the pass percentage among girls is 92.15 percent and among boys, it is 86.19 percent. Girls have done better than boys by 5.96 percent. the pass percentage among transgender students is 66.67 per cent.

As per the announcement made by the Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ as well as CBSE Board earlier on; the CBSE Board Results 2020 for both 10th and 12th Classes are to be announced on or before 15th July 2020.
It is very likely that CBSE will declare the 10th results in two days to follow the deadline of 15th July.

There is a significant increase in students scoring above 90 percent, with 38,686 students get 90 percent above marks this year. Last year, only 1.47 percent had scored above 95 percent, this year double to 3.24 percent. The number of candidates scoring over 90 percent also went up from 7.82 percent in 2019 to 13.24 percent in 2020.
