BJP To Hold 2-Day National Executive Meeting In Hyderabad From July 2

The BJP's national executive is a major decision-making body of the party, consisting of prominent leaders from across the country.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to organise a two-day national executive meeting in Hyderabad starting from July 2, as reported by news agency PTI. The meeting will be held at Novotel Hotel in Hyderabad on July 2 and 3 and all the veteran leaders of the BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda are likely to attend the two-day meeting. 

This will be the first meeting of the BJP's national executive after a gap of five years that is being held outside the national capital and will be the third one to be held in a South Indian state after coming to power at the Center in 2014.

Earlier in 2015, the BJP's national executive meeting was held in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka and in 2016 in Kozhikode, Kerala.

BJP's Telangana unit president B Sanjay Kumar has taken out "Praja Sangrama Yatra" in two phases across the state. Senior party leaders like Shah and Nadda have also joined the various phases of the yatra.

Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is trying to form a broad opposition coalition at the national level to challenge the BJP. He has also met leaders of many opposition parties including Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
