Gulmarg is a popular hill station located in the Pir Panjal range of Kashmir that receives heavy snowfall, thereby attracting many winter sports enthusiasts who come here for skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. The winter beauty of this place peaks in December when it showcases stunning vistas covered with snow, drawing tourists worldwide.

North of Srinagar lies Kupwara, which is picturesque with its beautiful green scenery and snow-capped peaks. In winter, when the snow covers everything, it creates a beautiful scenery just like the magic of a winter wonderland. It is this peaceful and simply stunning countryside that truly makes this little town a perfect travel escape for any nature lover during winter.

It is said to be in the Ganderbal district of Kashmir, and it is one of the places that are much adored during winter for its scenic and snowy landscapes. Snowfall carries on in the area from late November to January. The Thajiwas Glacier is also one of the major attractions. Mountains covered by snow and pure valleys make it a perfect place to enjoy snowy activities and explore in winters.
