It can be used in salad dressings, dips, garnish, or light sauté.
- Green tea's antioxidants fight free radicals, while vegetables rich in carotenoids, like carrots, spinach, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, corn, broccoli, etc., may protect skin from UV damage, a primary contributor to premature ageing.
- Nutrient-dense, minimally processed foods support healthy ageing. Blueberries, leafy greens, and nuts are especially beneficial, while fatty fish and yoghurt also play a role. Essential nutrients aid in slowing ageing signs, particularly promoting healthy skin. It's vital to understand that no single food can miraculously reverse ageing, as nutrition is just one facet of ageing gracefully.

She then laid down the following things to avoid:
- Unhealthy diet: Refined, packed, preserved and processed foods cause inflammation and may contribute to skin issues like acne. Replace with healthy options like having healthy fruits and vegetable juices or salads etc.
- Don't Overdo Caffeine: Excessive caffeine can dehydrate the skin. Balance your caffeine intake with adequate water consumption. Instead try to go for coconut water, fresh fruit juices etc.
- Avoid Crash Diets: Extreme dieting can deprive your body of essential nutrients, potentially leading to skin issues. Focus on sustainable, balanced eating habits.
- High-Fat Dairy: High-fat dairy products like high-fat milk, ghee, cheese, butter etc. exacerbate skin issues like acne. Consider opting for low-fat dairy or eliminating dairy from your diet if you suspect it affects your skin negatively.

- Focus on a Balanced diet: It helps to meet all the essential vitamins and minerals requirements needed for a youthful appearance, as it protects skin from free radical damage.
- Maintain Physical Activity: Exercise increases blood flow and supplies oxygen to your skin cells. Better circulation can help nourish your skin, potentially reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and sweating during exercise helps, the body to flush the toxins out of the body make the skin look clear, and avoid acne breakouts
- Prioritize Sleep: Aim for 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night to allow your skin to repair and rejuvenate.
- Manage Stress: Chronic stress can accelerate ageing—practice stress-reduction techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises.
- Sun Protection: Protect your skin from harmful UV rays by wearing sunscreen and protective clothing/scarf/hats to prevent premature ageing, tanning and the risk of skin cancer.
