Honeypreet Insan still missing three days after the release of 'Wanted' list

Panchkula (Haryana) [India], September 21 (ANI): With the continuous efforts of the Haryana Police to track down Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of jailed Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the Additional Superintendent of Police of Panchkula, M. Malhotra, on Thursday said that the efforts have still not bore fruits, despite conducting searches at several locations in Sri Ganganagar's Gurusar Modia.

"We conducted searches at several locations in Sri Ganganagar's Gurusar Modia, but did not find Honeypreet Insaan," Malhotra told the media.

The Haryana Police on Monday released a list of 43 people involved in the Panchkula violence that broke out on August 25. Honeypreet Singh is also included in the list, but Haryana DGP B.S. Sandhu on Monday said that no concrete evidence has been received regarding her whereabouts.

He also refuted claims that Honeypreet Insaan has crossed over to Nepal via Bihar.

At least 35 people died in the Panchkula violence that followed the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case. (ANI)
