Gaya Road Rage: MLC's Son Rocky Yadav Convicted For Killing 19-Year-Old For Overtaking His SUV

The Apex Court had quashed the order of Patna High Court and stayed the bail granted to Yadav, who shot Aditya Sachdeva dead in the road rage case in Gaya on May 7.

He will be sentenced next September 6.

The state government had put the case on speedy trial. The investigation was completed within three weeks and the chargesheet was filed within a month of the incident.

A Bihar court on Thursday convicted Rocky Yadav, the son of suspended JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi, for being involved in the murder of a Class XII student for overtaking his SUV in Bihar in 2016.

Rakesh Ranjan Yadav, also known as Rocky, was granted bail by the Patna High Court earlier on October 19 last year.

Rocky's parents, accused of sheltering him while he was on the run after the murder, were recently granted bail.

The police arrested Rocky from his father Bindi Yadav's mixer plant in Gaya on May 10 last year.
