Ideas of India: ABP Network is back with the fourth edition of its thought-provoking Ideas Of India Summit, where a host of speakers from various walks of life discuss the burning issues of the day.
Ideas Of India 2025 will be held on February 21 and 22 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Mumbai, with the discussions set to cover diverse topics, ranging from space to fitness and business to politics and culture.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor will grace the occasion to talk about ‘The Great Indian Migration: What Now in a World of Walls’. The session will be chaired by Megha Prasad, Political Editor, ABP News.

The discussion carries significance in the light of Donald Trump beginning his second term as US President with a crackdown on illegal immigrants. The move has hit Indians as well, with more than 300 illegal immigrants deported by the US since the beginning of this month.
Tharoor, known for his fiery speeches and articulate views, is a former Union MoS for External Affairs and has also served as an Under-Secretary-General at the United Nations.
Besides being a guest speaker, Tharoor will moderate three sessions at Ideas Of India 2025.

Shashi Tharoor At Ideas Of India 2024
Tharoor was also a participant in the previous edition of Ideas Of India, where he spoke about his identity as a Hindu, his entry into politics, and the “otherising” of minorities.
In a discussion with former BJP MP Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, which came ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Tharoor described himself as a “proud Hindu” and talked about the importance of preserving India’s multicultural and multi-linguist identity.
Talking about his decision to join politics after working for the UN for over two decades, the Congress MP said it was “tougher than walking through the minefields in Bosnia” and “refugee camps in Somalia”.
He also contested the BJP’s claim that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would win 400 seats in the Lok Sabha election, saying the coalition would be lucky to go anywhere close. The NDA eventually secured 293 of the 543 seats, with its largest constituent, the BJP, getting 240 seats.
