Indie Game Utsav and Comic Con India have teamed up to launch the biggest-ever Steam sale celebrating games developed in India. Dubbed the Comic Con X Indie Game Utsav Steam Sale, this event brings a whopping lineup of over 110 Indian-origin PC titles at discounts of up to 80 percent. Running from April 10, 11 pm IST to April 20, 11 pm IST, this sale isn't just massive — it’s historic. For the first time ever, a curated list of Indian games will be prominently featured on Steam’s global front page between April 18 and 20.

Indie Game Utsav Goes Live at Mumbai Comic Con

The sale coincides with another milestone — the physical debut of Indie Game Utsav at the upcoming Mumbai Comic Con. Taking place at Jio World Convention Centre from April 12-13, this on-ground showcase will give visitors a chance to try over 40 high-quality PC and console indie games developed in India. The event is part of Maruti Suzuki Arena presents Mumbai Comic Con powered by Crunchyroll.

The Utsav is backed by a stellar lineup of supporters including Intel, Xbox, Xsolla, Specter, and Nodwin Gaming, with IGDA India serving as the Community Partner.

Putting Indian Devs on the World Map

“This Steam Sale is our way of giving Indian games a wider audience,” said Avichal Singh, Co-Founder and Game Director of Nodding Heads Games and Project Director of Indie Game Utsav. “I’m grateful for Nodwin’s and Valve’s support to surface Indian games to the world.”

Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, added, “We’ve always believed that Indian indie game creators have something truly special to offer, and their games deserve to be in the hands of more players. This is just one step in a larger effort to support that ecosystem, and it’s great to see a platform like Valve share that vision for building a stronger PC gaming community in India.”

Bao Bao’s Cozy Laundromat – a solo-developed gem
Fears to Fathom – a viral episodic horror series
Kurukshetra – a strategic card-based title
Raji: An Ancient Epic – the critically acclaimed action-adventure
The Palace on the Hill – a tranquil narrative game
Kamla – a spine-chilling Indian horror experience

Gamers can also wishlist exciting upcoming titles such as Abashed, Fishbowl, Detective Dotson, Sojourn Past, Cosmic Race Galactic Showdown, and Appa — all proudly made in India.
