Messi On CoD? FIFA World Cup Fever Grips Call Of Duty As Special Operator Pack Goes Live

Messi will join the likes of Neymar Jr and Paul Pogba, whose operator bundles have already gone live.

Lionel Messi appeared as the latest guest character in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty Warzone 2. The special operator bundle went live on November 29 and soccer as well as gaming fans alike can purchase it using COD points. Publisher Activision is cashing in hard on the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament with the introduction of three popular football stars as operator packs within the game, including Messi, Brazilian striker Neymar Jr and French winger Paul Pogba.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will also host a CODBall event for a limited time. These plans for the introduction of three dedicated bundles have been the centre of attraction for the Call of Duty community.
