Call Of Duty-Rival, Rage Effect: Mobile, Out Now: Here's What 'India's First AAA Shooter' Brings To The Table

Rage Effect: Mobile brings maps inspired by famous Indian landmarks and incorporates character skins

Looks like Call of Duty: Mobile has a serious contender now. Claimed to be "India's first AAA mobile shooter" game, Rage Effect: Mobile, has officially been launched by Goldon Studios on both Android and iOS platforms. This high-on-adrenaline game, which saw over 120,000 pre-registrations in its beta phase, merges fast-paced gameplay with India-centric content and state-of-the-art technology.

Created by a seasoned team with backgrounds in Assassin’s Creed, The Sims, and Activision, Rage Effect: Mobile stands out with its unique features. Players can personalise weapons and maps and even build their own communities through the in-game "Rage Guilds."

The game supports seamless cross-play across Android, iOS, and PC, allowing players to create maps and contribute to community-driven developments, ensuring their input shapes the gameplay.

Indian Influence

What truly sets Rage Effect: Mobile apart is its Indian cultural influence. The game includes maps inspired by famous Indian landmarks and incorporates character skins, weapon designs, and in-game events that celebrate Indian traditions, festivals, and diversity.

Goldon Studios’ Founder and CEO, Karn Saxena, shared his excitement about the launch, calling it a milestone for India’s gaming industry. He noted that the studio aims to make Rage Effect a household name across all gaming platforms in India. With the country's enormous gaming community, estimated at 600 million strong, and an ever-expanding base of internet users, Saxena highlighted the potential for culturally relevant games to thrive.

Esports Plans

Goldon Studios is also focused on fostering the esports scene in India. Through partnerships with major esports tournaments and a collaboration with Team Liquid, one of the world’s top esports organisations, they are working to establish Rage Effect: Mobile as a competitive esports title. With optimisation for both mobile and PC and features tailored for esports events, Goldon Studios hopes to create a vibrant competitive landscape for Indian gamers.

Rage Effect: Mobile is now available for download on the Google Play store and Apple's App Store in countries including India, Brazil, Indonesia, and the US.
