Sourav Ganguly Birthday: When Aamir Khan Was Denied Entry To Dada's Home. Watch The Hilarious Video

Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan, once tried to sneak into cricket legend Sourav Ganguly’s Kolkata home in disguise for a prank.

On Sourav Ganguly's 53rd birthday, revisit the hilarious moment Aamir Khan's disguise prank spectacularly failed at 'Dada's' Kolkata residence. Back in 2009, during the promotional tour of his now-iconic film '3 Idiots', Aamir Khan decided to have a little fun and pull a prank on the legendary cricketer. Unfortunately for the Bollywood superstar, things didn’t quite go according to plan.

A Prank Gone Wrong

Aamir, known for his quirky sense of humour and method acting, dressed up in a wig and attempted to fake a Bengali accent to pass off as an ordinary fan. He carried a bag over his shoulder, like one a typical salesman would use.

His mission? To sneak into Ganguly’s home and surprise him. But his elaborate plan came crashing down when the guards outside Ganguly’s home failed to recognise him and promptly denied him entry, believing him to be just another overenthusiastic fan.

The moment turned even funnier when, after the prank was revealed, Aamir posed with the same guards who had unknowingly blocked his entry.

In another clip from the same day, Aamir was seen inside Ganguly’s home. Upon learning of Aamir’s visit, the cricketer warmly welcomed the actor and his then-wife Kiran Rao to his home for a friendly dinner. The trio discussed the prank over smiles and laughter.

This funny incident truly highlights how Aamir Khan was ahead of his time with his unique sense of humour. It also clearly showed Sourav Ganguly to be a wonderfully gracious host. In an age of often-scripted pranks and online stunts, this simple, genuine moment stands out as a truly memorable story.
