'It's Completely On Us': Agency Handling ALT Balaji's Social Media Apologises For Inadvertently Liking Derogatory Post Against Shehnaaz Gill
The agency that handles ALTBalaji's social media responses, apologised to Shehnaaz Gill and stated that it was a 'human error' by one of its staff members and was never meant to hurt anyone.
Mumbai: The leading OTT platform ALT Balaji, which is making the headlines for its upcoming web series ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’, has been trending on Twitter for allegedly liking a derogatory post on ‘Bigg Boss 13’ contestant Shehnaaz Gill.
‘Broken But Beautiful 3’ stars Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee in the lead roles. The makers have already dropped the trailer of the web series. The chemistry between the lead pair is setting the screens on fire and people have been eagerly waiting for the premiere on May 29, 2021.
Watching Sidharth and Sonia’s on-screen chemistry, netizens started sharing memes on Shehnaaz as Sidharth Shukla is rumoured to be dating Shehnaaz Gill. Their fans adorably call the couple SidNaaz.
Things took a serious turn when ALT Balaji allegedly liked a derogatory tweet against Shehnaaz Gill and soon after, netizens started slamming the OTT platform for liking the tweet.

Taking onus of it, Autumn ORM associates, an agency that handles ALTBalaji's social media responses, apologised to the actor and stated that it was a 'human error' by one of its staff members and was never meant to hurt anyone. "We're sorry and this is completely on us, not ALTBalaji".
“Last night, one of our team members by human error liked a tweet about Shehnaaz that was not in good taste. We hold the fans & actors in the highest regard and never meant to hurt anyone. We humbly apologise to the actor, ALTBalaji and all the fans. We have put stringent processes in place and will ensure this never occurs again. We're sorry and this is completely on us, not ALTBalaji. We hope you continue giving ALTBalaji & their shows as much love as you have,” the apology statement read.
Apart from Sidharth Shukla and Shehnaaz Gill, ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’ also stars Ehan Bhat, Jahanvi Dhanrajgir, Manvir Singh, Taniya Kalra & Saloni Khanna in prominent roles.
