Ahead of the release of the much-awaited web series, we caught up with Sonia Rathee for a short yet sweet exclusive conversation.
The debutante, who is nervous yet excited, opened up about her experience working with TV’s heartthrob Sidharth Shukla, their chemistry and her family’s reaction to the BBB 3’s trailer.
Experience Working With Sidharth
“My experience was great working with him. We had a fun time on the set. He is a great guy. There was never a boring a moment. Every time the director called cut, we would start talking. Everyone had a gala time on the set. I also bonded quite well with the other cast members and director. We all had a great time,” she said.
Secret Behind Sizzling Chemistry With Sidharth
When we asked Sonia about her kiss and chemistry with Sidharth, she attributed their scorching chemistry to friendship.
“You know at some point, it is work. There has to be chemistry in any romantic show. It obviously gets easier if you are friends. And that also took some work. Nobody becomes friends instantly. Overtime, ‘Hum dost bhi ban gaye the’," she added.
Family’s Reaction After Watching ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’ Trailer
Sonia revealed that her family members jumped with joy after watching the trailer of her series.
“They didn’t believe that it was me. They were like, ‘Yeh to Sonia Hai Hi Nhi’. They were in shock for some time. They are happy and excited to see on screen. My family is on cloud nine. I am also thrilled as I am making my debut,” she said.

“Feisty, child and a warrior,” the actress said.
