Veteran Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi Passes Away In Mumbai Due To Heart Ailment

Mithilesh Chaturvedi was suffering from heart ailment. He had also undergone a heart surgery recently.

New Delhi: Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi, known for his roles in films like 'Koi Mil Gaya', 'Gadar' and 'Satya' among others, has passed away in Lucknow. The actor was suffering from heart ailment. He had also undergone a heart surgery recently. Owing to his illness, he was admitted in Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where he breathed his last on August 4, 2022.

His son-in-law confirmed his death on the social media platform Facebook. He wrote, "आप दुनिया के सबसे अच्छे पिता थे, आपने मुझे दामाद नही बल्कि एक बेटे के तरह अपना प्रेम दिया,
भगवान आपकी आत्मा को शांति प्रदान करे" (You were the world's best father, you did not love me like a son-in-law but like your own son, May your soul rest in peace).

Mithilesh Chaturvedi had a thriving acting career with several television shows to his credit. He was seen in 'Neeli Chatri Wale' and 'Kayamath' among others.

The veteran actor was seen playing a pivotal role in the daily soap 'Patiala Babes'.

Talking to ABP News, Mithilesh Chaturvedi's son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi said that the actor suffered from a heart attack 10 days ago after which he was admitted in the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Ashish said, "He was feeling better from last 2-3, but today around 4.00 am he again got heart attack and he left us all."

He further added, "Babuji did not have any problem before the heart attack 10 days back. He was completely fine and used to be busy with his work. During treatment, his health suddenly deteriorated last night and his kidney was also infected, due to which he was on dialysis."

Giving information about the last rites, Ashish said, "At present, the body of Babuji is in the hospital itself. Right now it is not possible to tell the exact time of the last rites, but his last rites can be performed at Versova's cremation ground between 3.00 to 4.00 pm. "
