'Udaan' Actor Vijayendra Kumeria RETURNS TO TV With 'Sufiyana Pyaar Mera'; Will STAR Opposite Helly Shah

'Udaan' actor Vijayendra Kumeria will be paired opposite Helly Shah in 'Sufiyana Pyaar Mera'.

New Delhi: Popular TV actor Vijayendra Kumeria is fondly known for his role of Suraj opposite Meera Deosthale in Colors TV’s ‘Udaan’. The actor has been missing from the small screen ever since he quit the social drama. Vijayendra and Meera’s chemistry was quite a hit among the viewers and it helped the show in grabbing several eyeballs. Meera is rumoured to return on Colors channel with a new show titled ‘Vidya’ opposite Namish Taneja. Vijayendra’s ardent fans have been eagerly waiting to see him make a comeback soon. It seems they won’t have to wait long as the handsome actor is all set to enter a Star Bharat show.

A report in a leading daily has suggested that Vijayendra will soon enter ‘Sufiyana Pyaar Mera’ opposite Helly Shah. Yes, you read that right. The ‘Shastri Sisters’ actor will play a doctor and his entry is expected to spice up the drama on the show. “Yes, I am joining the show. I will play the role of Madhav, whose entry will result in a lot of twists and turns in the storyline. His entry will have a direct effect on everyone’s life on the show. My track will be laced with suspense, thrill and lots of drama. That’s all I can reveal at this point,” Vijayendra told Times Of India. When asked why he took up ‘Sufiyana Pyaar Mera’, the actor further told TOI,, “I wanted to do something completely different from Suraj’s (‘Udann’) character. I think Madhav’s character is something I would enjoy playing and hence, I took it up. According to the brief, this character is challenging, has got layers and will bring a lot of twists in the story, which will be exciting for me as an actor.”

On the professional front, Vijayendra Kumeria made his TV debut with 'Choti Bahu'. He later went on to do shows like ‘Aaj Ki Housewife Hai... Sab Jaanti Hai’, ‘Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara’ and ‘Tumhari Paakhi’. Talking about ‘Sufiyana Pyaar Mera’, Helly Shah plays the double roles of Saltanat and Kaynaat.
