Mourning The Death Of Sushma Swaraj TV Actor Karanvir Bohra Reminisces How She Helped Him Once

No matter in which corner of the world one was stuck in, former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj would always go out of her way to help people in need. Attesting the fact from a personal experience was television actor Karanvir Bohra, who took to Twitter to recount how the Swaraj-led ministry of external affairs came to his rescue after he was detained for travelling with a damaged passport. Back then the actor and Bigg Boss 12 finalist, was detained at the Moscow International Airport in January due to passport issues. He had flown to Russia to attend the MacCoffee Bollywood Film Festival.

Later, he thanked the then foreign minister along with a video of himself holding his new passport. He also wrote on Twitter, “I have no words to thank the @IndEmbMoscow 4 helping me get a brand new temporary passport and a visa.celebrity or no celebrity, i know one thing for sure, we Indians are in very safe hands when we travel abroad... thanks to @SushmaSwaraj and the #IndianEmbassy for their help.”

Swaraj, 67, passed away late on Tuesday after suffering a massive cardiac arrest here. With inputs from IANS
