Arjun Bijlani REPLACES Shaleen Malhotra in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil'

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor's upcoming show 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' is making headlines before hitting the small screens. According to the reports the makers of upcoming show have decided to replace the lead actor Shaleen Malhotra by TV heartthrob Arjun Bijlani. It was reported that Shaleen Malhotra who is best remembered as Arjun had even done the mock shoot with Drashti Dhami and was finalised for the male lead. But now due to some differences between the creatives and Sahleen, the makers have replaced  him with Arjun. Leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source saying , “Shaleen is definitely a dedicated and talented actor. But with Arjun already gaining prominence in the Balaji camp thanks to the success of Naagin, the head honchos in the production have decided to get him in place of Shaleen. It came as a shocking development for us too. Shaleen had even done a mock shoot with Drashti and it had come out wonderfully well. Lets see how things work out with Arjun,” The show which is inspired by Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhry starrer blockbuster flick 'Pardesh' will also see a comeback of top TV actress Additi Gupta. The actress who impressed viewers with the character of ‘Heer’ in Ekta Kapoor’ popular love saga ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil’ will portray a negative character in the show.
