Game Changer Box Office Collection Day 5: Ram Charan Starrer Political Drama Crosses Rs 100 Cr Mark

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Game Changer collected ₹10.19 crore on its first Tuesday.

The year 2025 has begun on an eventful note for Game Changer, the much-anticipated political drama featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. After years of buildup and high expectations, the film has finally hit the big screen, delivering a strong opening week despite mixed reviews. Garnering over ₹100 crore in just five days across all languages in India, the movie has captured attention both for its box office performance and the controversies surrounding its reported earnings.

Game Changer Box Office Collection

According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Game Changer collected ₹10.19 crore on its first Tuesday. This includes ₹6.3 crore from the Telugu version, ₹0.95 crore from Tamil, and ₹2.94 crore from Hindi, bringing its total domestic earnings to ₹106.34 crore.

Here’s the breakdown of the film's collections so far:

  • Day 1 (Friday): ₹51 crore
  • Day 2 (Saturday): ₹21.6 crore
  • Day 3 (Sunday): ₹15.9 crore
  • Day 4 (Monday): ₹7.65 crore
  • Day 5 (Tuesday): ₹10.19 crore
    Total: ₹106.34 crore

Performance and Controversy

The film's opening day was remarkable, with ₹51 crore collected domestically, but subsequent days showed a significant dip in revenue. After a slow Monday, the film bounced back slightly on Tuesday, benefiting from the holiday season.

However, Game Changer has also found itself in the spotlight for an alleged inflation of its global box office figures. While initial estimates pegged the worldwide Day 1 collection at ₹80.1 crore, the producers claimed a staggering ₹186 crore, sparking backlash and ridicule online. Many fans and industry insiders criticized the exaggerated numbers, urging for more transparency.

Despite the controversies, Game Changer continues to pull in audiences, especially in its Telugu and Hindi versions. With the first week still underway, all eyes are on the film's long-term box office trajectory.
