The Great Indian Kapil Show Welcomes Metro In Dino Cast But Where Is Navjot Singh Sidhu?
The Great Indian Kapil Show returns with the star-studded Metro In Dino cast, but fans are puzzled as Navjot Singh Sidhu is missing from the latest promo.

The Great Indian Kapil Show is back with a bang, bringing along its signature blend of star-studded charm and laugh-out-loud moments. While fans were excited to see Navjot Singh Sidhu return to his iconic seat in the previous episode, the newly released promo for the second episode raises eyebrows as Sidhu is noticeably absent.
The Great Indian Kapil Show second episode promo
This weekend’s episode will see the vibrant ensemble of Metro In Dino grace the stage, featuring a glittering line-up of Konkona Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, and director Anurag Basu.
The promo kicks off on a breezy note, with the cast swaying to a romantic track in pairs. But it doesn't take long for Kapil Sharma to crack his signature wit. Referring to Aditya Roy Kapur’s onscreen history, Kapil jokes, “In Fitoor, Aditya (Kapur) worked with Katrina (Kaif), and she got married. In Sadak 2, he worked with Alia (Bhatt), and she got married. So, Sara… maybe,” teasing the young actress about her future.

Kapil’s sharp banter continues as he turns to Fatima Sana Shaikh, asking, “Considering how your film characters keep getting abandoned… what kind of boyfriend are you actually looking for?” The actress responds with a cheeky plug for her upcoming Netflix film Aap Jaisa Koi (releasing July 11), saying, “Aap Jaisa Ko (Someone Like You).”
Sidhu missing from The Great Indian Kapil Show promo
One of the heartfelt moments in the promo comes from Pankaj Tripathi, who shares, “I have only ever romanced one woman in my life. She’s now my wife.” The revelation earns warm applause from the audience and Archana Puran Singh - though viewers quickly notice something else: the empty chair next to her, reserved for Navjot Singh Sidhu, remains unoccupied.
The rest of the promo offers glimpses of regulars Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and the much-loved Sunil Grover, all stepping in with their trademark antics. The cast even indulges in a hilarious round of musical chairs, sending the live audience into fits of laughter.
The new episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 will stream this Saturday at 8 pm, only on Netflix.
