At Netflix’s Next on Netflix event, Shah Rukh Khan proudly introduced his children’s Bollywood journeys, urging fans to support them as he has been. Aryan makes his directorial debut with ‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’, while Suhana stepped into acting with ‘The Archies’ in 2023.

While speaking to the crowd, Shah Rukh Khan said in Hindi, “Guzaarish aur bahut dil se main chaahunga ki mere bete jo apna pehla kadam rakh rahe hai direction mein, mere beti jo actress ban rahi hai, un sabko bhi 50 percent pyaar bhi agar ye duniya dede jitna mujhe diya hai toh bahut zyada hoga (I sincerely request that my son, taking his first step into direction, and my daughter, becoming an actress, receive even 50% of the love the world has given me—it would be more than enough)."

Produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, the series, co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, is officially titled The Bads of Bollywood.

Shah Rukh praises his son Aryan Khan

Praising Aryan's dedication, Shah Rukh stated that the hard work behind the show, calling it a "family show," with Netflix being a part of that extended family. He explained that the show follows an ambitious outsider navigating the complex world of Bollywood, blending humor with high stakes and promising thrilling cameos.

Shah Rukh shared a touching memory of when Aryan and Suhana were younger, asking questions about the industry as they saw their father’s famous friends, including Karan Johar, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan, visiting their home. He thanked many actors who supported Aryan and gave their love to him, although he couldn't name them.

Lastly, Shah Rukh reflected on his long-standing collaboration with Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment, which has resulted in multiple successful projects, including ‘Darlings’, ‘Betaal’, and ‘Bard of Blood’.
