'Snow White' Saw Mixed Reactions
While 'Snow White' managed a moderate run at the global box office, it fell short of its hefty production budget, estimated between $240 to $270 million. The film drew praise for Rachel Zegler’s performance but drew criticism for some of its bold stylistic choices and narrative changes.
The controversy surrounding Zegler’s earlier remarks about playing a “modern” princess also stirred backlash on social media, which reportedly impacted the film’s theatrical turnout.
