New Delhi: The supernatural horror-comedy Chandramukhi 2, starring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence, is all set to enthral viewers on Netflix after a successful theatrical run.
The movie will debut on Netflix on October 26, 2023, according to an exciting announcement from the streaming service. The movie will be available for viewing in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
The plot of Chandramukhi 2 is on a wealthy family who unintentionally reignites a long-standing conflict between Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan Raja. They start out to end the otherworldly battle when they come across ghostly activity. In the film, Lakshmi Menon has a key role.
The film's director, P. Vasu, has received the best wishes of South Indian superstar Rajinikanth, who also praised the film for its innovative approach to the classic Chandramukhi. He applauded the entire cast and crew of this entertaining film, as well as Raghava Lawrence for his superb acting.
In confessing that he wasn't pleased with the first half, Raghava Lawrence acknowledged his first reservations about Chandramukhi. He did admit, though, that Rajinikanth's famous mass moments really helped the movie take off after the interval. He was particularly impressed by how the Vettaiyan character elevated Chandramukhi to a distinct level.
'Chandramukhi 2'
Along with Kangana and Raghava, other talented actors and actresses who play key roles in the movie include Vadivelu, Srushti Dange, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Mahima Nambiar, Srushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, and Subiksha Krishnan. Chandramukhi 2's soundtrack was written by M.M. Keeravani. Subaskaran Allirajah is in charge of producing the movie under the Lyca Productions label.
The premiere was originally scheduled for September 15, but owing to technical issues, it was moved to September 28. The sequel to the popular 2005 film Chandramukhi, Chandramukhi 2, centres on a wealthy family who rekindles a long-standing dispute between the classical dancer Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan Raja.
Kangana Ranaut has Tejas and Emergency on her plate as Chandramukhi 2 is set to premiere on Netflix.
Jigarthanda DoubleX is the upcoming film featuring Raghava Lawrence.
