New Delhi: The teaser of Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s upcoming film ‘Blind’ was released on Tuesday. The film is set for a direct-to-digital release on JioCinema from July 7.
In the teaser, Sonam is playing a visually impaired cop who is out on a mission to nab a serial killer. The film is an adaptation of the 2011 Korean film of the same name.
The film is billed as "a compelling tale of resilience and determination", will be available exclusively on JioCinema for free.

Directed by Shome Makhija, the film also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lillete Dubey, and Shubham Saraf.
It promises to bring to life "a remarkable central character who triumphs over seemingly insurmountable challenges," the makers added.
Presented by Jio Studios in association with RV Motion Pictures & Lead Films, the movie is a Kanai, Avma and Kross Pictures production.
'Blind’ marks the streaming debut of Sonam, who is returning to showbiz after embracing motherhood in 2022.

For the unversed, the reception is hosted by the UK Prime Minister at his official residence and office in 10 Downing Street and is a part of India Global Forum's flagship event UK-India week, which is being held from June 26-30 in London.
UK-India Week 2023 is the fifth iteration of IGF’s flagship event, a weeklong programme that seeks to honour and strengthen the longstanding partnership between these two countries by providing a platform to spotlight crucial topics, including politics, trade, business, sustainability, inclusion and innovation.
Sonam will attend the reception on June 28 to represent India and its global cultural influence. Previously, Sonam attended King Charles III's coronation concert in England, where she recited a spoken word performance.
