Telugu Choreographer Chaitanya Dies By Suicide, Leaves Behind An Emotional Video

Choreographer Chaitanya, who gained prominence after participating in the Telugu dance show 'Dhee', allegedly died by suicide on April 30.

New Delhi: Choreographer Chaitanya, who gained prominence after participating in the Telugu dance show 'Dhee', allegedly died by suicide on April 30. He had released an emotional video message. Chaitanya reportedly hanged himself in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

According to news sources, Chaitanya had taken out loans, and since he was unable to pay them back, he felt pressured by his financial obligations and took drastic step. 

In his video message, shared by a fan on Twitter, Chaitanya said, “My mom, dad, and sister took good care of me and ensured I didn’t face any problems. My sincere apologies to all my friends. I bothered many people, and my apologies to all."

“I lost my goodness regarding money matters. Not just taking loans, but one should have the capacity to repay them. But I couldn’t do it. Currently, I am in Nellore, and this is my last day. I cannot bear the problems associated with my loans,” he added. 

Several viewers of Chaitanya on the dance competition Dhee took to social media to express their shock. 

Chaitanya, an established name in the dance show, was in his 30s. Fans on social media were still processing this shocking news.
