New Delhi: The trailer of the comedy of errors ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’, starring Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh, was released on Saturday. The makers hosted a trailer launch event in Mumbai, offering a sneak peek into the complicated lives of the film’s lead characters.
The three main protagonists in the movie are entangled in a tumultuous romantic triangle. Prabhleen, Arjun Kapoor's fearless ex-wife, is portrayed by Bhumi Pednekar. She suffers from retrograde amnesia and forgets their divorce. Rakul Preet's character Antara, whom Arjun is now seeing, is trapped between his previous and current romantic lives and finds it difficult to deal with Prabhleen's efforts to keep their marriage together. There are many giggles and tensions as a consequence of Arjun having to decide between "ex-pyaar" and "current dildaar."
The perplexity is increased by Arjun's buddy, who is portrayed by Harsh Gujral, guiding him through the love circle he is now caught in.

Under the direction of Mudassar Aziz, who is well-known for his most recent collaboration with Akshay Kumar on ‘Khel Khel Mein’, ‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ offers a sardonic, romantic, and glamorous perspective on relationships while also making a light-hearted observation on how life doesn't always go as planned.
Director Mudassar Aziz's Statement
During the trailer's premiere, director Mudassar Aziz was open about the often unjust reception comedy films get in the business. He underlined how valuable these films are, especially when seen with family. "Comedy doesn't get its due in the industry. If you look at the history of Indian cinema and the history of awards in Bollywood, you don't find any comedy films making it big, being remembered as great movies. This, despite the fact that most families love to watch comedy movies when they are together," he said.
‘Mere Husband Ki Biwi’ is slated to release on February 21, 2025.
