Did Alia skip Ranbir's mom Neetu Singh's birthday celebration because of Mahesh Bhatt?

New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Singh celebrated her 60th birthday in Paris with her family members in true Kapoor style. Her granddaughter Samara added charm to the 'Do Dooni Chaar' actress’ birthday celebrations in the French capital. Speculations were rife that Alia Bhatt, who is rumoured to be dating the ‘Sanju’ actor, will join them in the celebrations, but it didn’t happen. However, the Raazi actress wished Neetu by sharing a throwback picture with her on Instagram. Alia was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport but she was nowhere to seen in the birthay celebration pictures shared by Riddhima Kapoor Sahni on her Instagram page. Grapevines have been buzzing with the rumours that Alia skipped Neetu Singh’s birthday celebration on insistence of her father Mahesh Bhatt. “Bhatt sahab always wants actors to do their best when they are at the peak of their careers. The younger generation does like to mix work with pleasure, but it was on her father’s advice that Alia decided to go to work instead of attending the birthday celebration. It will be interesting to see if Alia does find some time to go to Paris, or if she waits for boyfriend Ranbir to join her for the shoot,” a source told Deccan Chronicle.
