Dia Mirza Reveals She Got To Know About Her Pregnancy During Wedding Preps With Vaibhav Rekhi

There was one follower who questioned Dia Mirza's pregnancy timing and asked why she couldn’t announce her pregnancy before marriage.

New Delhi: Earlier this month, Bollywood actress Dia Mirza announced her first pregnancy with on her social media. Dia Mirza got married to Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15, 2021 in an intimate ceremony. This is Dia’s second marriage as she was earlier married to a businessman Sahil Sangha.

As soon as the actress shared the happy news of her pregnancy, congratulatory messages started pouring from her fans and other B’Town celebrities.

Dia Mirza penned down a beautiful note while sharing the news of her pregnancy with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi. She wrote, “Blessed to be...One with Mother Earth...One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything...Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs. Of new saplings. And the blossoming of hope. Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻”

There was one follower who questioned Dia’s pregnancy timing and asked why she couldn’t announce her pregnancy before marriage.

Dia Mirza, who is known for her witty replies, answered the question revealing that she got to know about her pregnancy while planning her wedding with Vaibhav Rekhi.

The ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’ actress replied, “Interesting question. Firstly, we didn’t marry because we were having a baby together. We were already marrying as we wanted to spend our lives together. We discovered we were going to have a baby while we were planning our wedding. So this marriage is not the result of pregnancy. We didn’t announce the pregnancy until we knew its safe (medical reasons). This is the happiest news of my life. I’ve waited for many many years for this to happen. No way I would hide it for any reason other than medical.”

Speaking on the professional front, Dia Mirza has been last seen in the Telugu film  the ‘Wild Dog’ alongside Nagarjuna Akkineni and Saiyami Kher.
