The teaser, lasting one minute and forty-six seconds, brilliantly blends comedy and spine-tingling horror. Vidya’s portrayal of Manjulika in 2007 is still etched in our minds—especially the scene where she lifts a bed in a rage-filled moment. This time, she returns to claim her throne, quite literally. As the scene unfolds, Kartik’s Rooh Baba makes a grand entrance, wielding a torch and delivering the line, "Bewakoof hai duniya jo bhooto se darti hai" (The world is foolish for fearing ghosts). What follows is Rooh Baba breaking open the lock of the room where Manjulika was trapped by a priest.
Triptii Dimri is also seen in a brief, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance. The real highlight of the teaser is Vidya Balan, who reminds us why her portrayal of Manjulika became so iconic. The teaser wraps up with Kartik hilariously calling Manjulika "ek number ki daayan.”

'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' continues the horror-comedy franchise that began with the 2007 hit starring Akshay Kumar. The original was a Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam classic 'Manichitrathazhu', directed by Fazil, father of Malayalam star Fahadh Fazil. Kartik Aaryan, who took over from Akshay in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', will reprise his role as Rooh Baba in this third installment. In the second film, Kartik’s character shared the screen with Kiara Advani, but this time he will be paired with Triptii Dimri. Vidya Balan will reprise her role as Mnajulika feim the first film.
