Akshay Kumar’s ‘BellBottom’ Leaked Online; Makers Eyeing Sequel Of Spy Thriller

New Delhi: ‘BellBottom’ released on the big screens today thereby becoming the first Bollywood big-budget movie to release in theatres after our country got hit by the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, ‘BellBottom’ is the hope of revival for all the theatre owners as Salman Khan’s movie ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ also skipped theatrical release due to the pandemic.
Many fans and celebrities are congratulating the team of ‘BellBottom’ for taking this step and take the first shot. The audience is equally excited to experience the feeling of watching a movie in theatres after a very long time. However, soon after its release, ‘BellBottom’ has been leaked online and is reportedly available free for download.
According to a report of Bollywood Life, “The spy-thriller is available in HD formats on pirated sites like Tamilrockers, Filmywap, Filmyzilla and Telegram.”
Also, while giving an interview to the portal, Akshay Kumar revealed that there is scope for a sequel of ‘BellBottom’. When questioned about planning the sequel, the ‘Sooryavanshi’ actor was quoted saying by Bollywood Life, “Yes, if you see the way the film ended, there's definitely scope for a sequel. So, let's wait and see, if they (the makers) come with a good script, then we could work things out.”
Meanwhile, other than Akshay Kumar, ‘BellBottom’ also stars Lara Dutta, Adil Hussain, Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor, Aniruddh Dave and others. Helmed by Ranjit M. Tewari, this movie is receiving good reviews from both the critics and the audience. Lara Dutta’s performance as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi has also been well-received by the audience.
