BTS’ Jin Can’t Resist Dragging Coldplay’s Viral Kiss-Cam Couple, Leaves ARMY Laughing

BTS' Jin couldn't hold back his laughter after fans referenced the Coldplay kiss-cam scandal during a game of charades at his Anaheim concert.

During his electrifying solo performance in Anaheim as part of the RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, BTS’ Jin shared a moment with fans that had the entire venue erupting with laughter—and it had everything to do with Coldplay and a now-infamous viral video.

BTS Fans Reference Viral Kiss-Cam Moment

In a lighthearted segment of the show, Jin invited fans to play a game of charades with him. When the word “Coldplay” popped up on the screen, fans couldn’t resist referencing the much-discussed moment that recently went viral online—a clip from a Coldplay concert where a couple’s reaction on the kiss-cam sparked major speculation and internet frenzy.

Jin was initially puzzled by the audience’s reaction as fans mimicked the couple’s now-iconic “hug and duck” moment. But once he caught on, he broke into laughter and asked, “Is it my bro?”—referring to Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin. The crowd responded with enthusiastic cheers, prompting Jin to join in on the fun and mimic the hug gesture himself.

What Really Happened at the Coldplay Concert?

The moment fans referenced took place at a recent Coldplay concert, where Andy Byron, CEO of the $1.3 billion data company Astronomer, and his company’s Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot, were spotted on the jumbotron sharing what looked like a romantic moment.

As the camera zoomed in, Cabot quickly covered her face, while Byron appeared visibly flustered. According to lip readers online, he muttered, “F–king hell, it’s me,” before ducking out of view. Kristin added to the awkwardness by reportedly saying, “This is awkward.”

Chris Martin Breaks the Tension

Chris Martin, observing the couple’s discomfort from the stage, quipped, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” then quickly added, “I hope we didn’t do something bad…”

Soon after, social media sleuths identified both individuals. Reports claim Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, while Cabot finalized her divorce from Kenneth Thornby in 2022.

The unexpected moment may have stolen the spotlight at the Coldplay concert, but now it seems to have made its way into BTS fandom lore—thanks to Jin’s quick wit and the ARMY’s meme-savvy instincts.
