BTS' J Hope Purchases Two Luxury Apartments In Seoul Worth Rs 125 Crore, Know Details

J-Hope made a huge real estate investment as he bought two high-end apartments in Seoul, South Korea.

New Delhi: BTS member Jung Ho-seok, better known by his stage name J-Hope, has sunk a substantial sum of money into two posh Seoul apartments, for a total of Rs 125 crore. It was reported by BizHankook that the world-famous K-pop artist paid full cash for the two residences in Seoul's Yongsan district's exclusive Seobinggo-dong neighbourhood.

J-Hope bought his first penthouse in June which was valued at ₩12 billion (about Rs 91 crore). At 273.86 sq m, this duplex has four bathrooms and three bedrooms, making it a very desirable property. A formal transfer of ownership took place on June 10, 2023, after the signing of the contract on June 3, 2020.

The apartment just below the penthouse was likewise bought by J-Hope not long after. This 232.86 sq m apartment has one storey, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. He signed the second flat contract on June 23, 2020, and finalised the payment on July 26, 2024.

Seobinggo-dong is one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in Seoul. Luxury real estate in this area is now selling for 11–12 billion KRW, or around Rs 91–100 crore. Not only is J-Hope a worldwide sensation, but he has also shown himself to be a wise investor.

J-Hope's Other Purchases

At the moment, J-Hope owns a total of four mansions: two in Aper Hangang and two in Tree Maze. Houses in Aper Hangang have been purchased by several famous people, including Gong Yoo, Kim Go-Eun, Soo Ae, Jang Yoon-jeong, and Do Kyung-wan, among many others.

Meanwhile, J-Hope has been in the army since April 2023 and is now a trainer at the Baekho Recruit Training Centre. Earlier, he was in the news for being promoted to corporal two months ahead of schedule. It is anticipated that J-Hope will be discharged on October 17.
