The 40-year old star whose film became a phenomenon this year saw not just fans but also celebrities and cricketers mimic his dialogues, swag and dance steps on social media. Allu Arjun made his acting debut with 'Gangotri' in 2003. He made his mark with Sukumar's cult film 'Arya' for which he won a Nandi Special Jury Award in 2004. Besides being an action film hero par excellence, Allu has also established himself as a versatile actor with 'Vedam', 'Race Gurraam','Gona Ganna Reddy', 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' and his latest 'Pushpa:The Rise'. 'Pushpa' is also the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021 and features among highest-grossing Telugu films of all time.

Allu is also a recipient of five Filmfare Awards South and five Nandi Awards. His upcoming projects include 'Pushpa: The Rule', the sequel to the 2021 film, which will again be directed by Sukumar. Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Anasurya Bharaddwaj among others will also return to the sequel in their respective roles.
