In the video shared on Instagram, a man brought his girlfriend on stage and proposed to her, going down on one knee as the audience erupted in cheers. He then kissed her hand and hugged her, while Diljit sang nearby.

Diljit joined in on the celebration, clapping, cheering, and encouraging the audience to applaud the couple. He even shook hands with the man and hugged the girlfriend. When the man revealed they had been together for 13 years, Diljit confirmed this with the girlfriend.

Upon her agreement, Diljit jokingly said, "If he ever fights with you, just ring me up." This incident followed Diljit’s Ahmedabad concert, where he had openly challenged state governments to ban alcohol at his shows. The challenge came after the Telangana government prohibited songs promoting alcohol and drugs at his Hyderabad concert. Complying with legal notices, Diljit modified his song lyrics during that performance.
