Chennai: Several complaints were lodged from different places seeking the arrest of Kollywood actress Meera Mithun, after her casteist remarks irked a section of people in the state.

Motormouth Meera invites trouble

The motor-mouth Meera spoke ill for the Dalits community and Dalit filmmakers in Tamil cinema in a recent video which upset many and lead them to lodge complaints against her.

Dalits should be chucked out

Meera was seen saying in a recent YouTube video that the scheduled caste workers should be chucked out of the film industry. She said that the members of the SC community face problems mostly because they are indulged in criminal activities. Spewing venom further, she said that no one will unnecessarily speak ill of someone without a reason. I think it’s time to chuck out all the scheduled caste people and filmmakers from the industry.
