Telangana CM KCR To Launch BRS Poll Manifesto On Oct 15, Will Begin Rallies Across State

After the ECI's announcement of the polling dates of the Telangana Assembly Elections, BRS president KCR announced that he will release the party manifesto on Sunday.

The ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will on Sunday (October 15) release the manifesto of his party for the Telangana Assembly elections which is slated to take place on November 30. He will address a public meeting at Husnabad in Siddipet district on the same day which will mark the launch of his poll campaign. The Telangana CM will be holding a meeting with his party's MLA candidates on the same day at the party headquarters where he will hand over the B-Forms (the form is proof that a particular candidate is put up by a political party in the election) to them, stated a BRS release.

At the meeting, he will explain the rules to be followed in the election and give suggestions to the candidates. Following this meeting, the party manifesto will be released.

KCR will address an election rally at Husnabad at 4 pm on Sunday and on the next day, he will be speaking at rallies in Jangaon and Bhuvanagiri. He will then attend public meetings at Siddipet and Sircilla on October 17. On October 18, the Telangana CM will address public meetings at Medchal and Jadcharla.

On November 9, he will file his nomination as a candidate in the assembly polls from the Gajwel constituency in Siddipet district and Kamareddy constituency. Prior to the submission of his nomination, he will be offering prayers at Lord Venkateswara temple at Konaipally village near Siddipet as per his practice, the release stated

KCR represents Gajwel in the outgoing assembly currently and he has decided to also contest from the Kamareddy in the upcoming assembly election.

He will be filing his nomination in the afternoon on November 9 and later will address a rally in the constituency on the same day.

Earlier on August 21, he announced candidates for 115 seats out of the total 119 seats in the Assembly.

As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission today, the Gazette Notification for the State Assembly election will be issued on November 3 and November 10 will be the last date to file nominations.

According to the EC's announcement, polling will be held in Telangana on November 30 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3.
