LS Polls: Kinnar Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi To Contest Against PM Modi From Varanasi

The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha released a list of 20 candidate in Uttar Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Kinnar Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) will contest the Lok Sabha elections 2024 against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the Varanasi constituency, Swami Chakrapani, the ABHM chief told ABP Live. The Hindu right-wing outfit will contest 20 Lok sabha seats in UP including Varanasi.

Apart from Mahamandleshwar Kinnar Himangi Sakhi, the outfit has announced candidates from Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Agra, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Gautam Buddh Nagar among others.

Rishi Kumar Trivedi has been fielded from Sitapur, Ashwini Kumar Srivastava from Lucknow, Ashok Srivastava from Deoria, Puja from Baghpat, Mrityunajay Singh Bhumihar from Mirzapur, Ramakant Pande from Sant Kabir Nagar, Rishabh Srivastava from Gonda, Mahamandaleshwar Anand Swaroop Ji Maharaj from Salempur, and Raju Prakash Srivastava from Ballia.

The outfit nominated Sachin Puran Choudhary from Ghaziabad, Ranveer Choudhary from Gautam Buddh Nagar, Kanta Prasad Dwivedi from Fatehpur, Umesh Bajpai from Unnao, Sudhanshu Singh Srivastava from Gorakhpur, and Diwakar Vikram Singh from Dumariaganj.

Naveen Kumar Upadhyay has been given a ticket from Banda-Chitrakoot, Sanjay Srivastava from Prayagraj, Aniket Agrawal from Agra, and Poonam Choubey from Azamgarh.

Himangi Sakhi is the world's first eunuch Mahamandaleshwar who is a devotee of Lord Krishna.

Her devotion to Lord Krishna started from the ISKCON temple near her home in Mumbai where she learned about Lord Krishna, according to a News18 report.

According to media reports, Himangi Sakhi said that she entered the poll fray to give the transgender community their rights and respect.

Prime Minister's slogan 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' is good but the need for 'Kinnar Bachao-Kinnar Padhao' was not understood, according to the Hindu cleric demanding jobs and seats to be reserved for the transgender community in Lok Sabha, Assembly and Panchayat elections so that they can also be represented.
