Himangi Sakhi is the world's first eunuch Mahamandaleshwar who is a devotee of Lord Krishna.
Her devotion to Lord Krishna started from the ISKCON temple near her home in Mumbai where she learned about Lord Krishna, according to a News18 report.
According to media reports, Himangi Sakhi said that she entered the poll fray to give the transgender community their rights and respect.
Prime Minister's slogan 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' is good but the need for 'Kinnar Bachao-Kinnar Padhao' was not understood, according to the Hindu cleric demanding jobs and seats to be reserved for the transgender community in Lok Sabha, Assembly and Panchayat elections so that they can also be represented.
