Karnataka Lok Sabha Election Results: Jagadish Shettar To Tejasvi Surya — Full List Of Winners

In Karnataka, the BJP achieved a decisive victory, winning 17 out of the 28 seats. The Indian National Congress secured 9 seats, while the Janata Dal (Secular) got 2 seats.

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha Election 2024 in Karnataka was held on April 26, 2024, and May 7, 2024, during the second and third phases, respectively, for the state's 28 seats. In Karnataka, a tough battle unfolded between the Congress and the BJP, which was in alliance with former PM H.D. Deve Gowda's Janata Dal (Secular).  

In Karnataka, the BJP achieved a decisive victory, winning 17 seats. The Congress secured nine seats, while the JD(S) got two.

Notable BJP winners included Tejasvi Surya from Bangalore South, Yaduveer Wadiyar from Mysuru, and C.N. Manjunath from Bangalore Rural. From JD(S), H.D. Kumaraswamy won Mandya with the state's highest margin, and Priyanka Satish Jarkiholi from the Congress triumphed in Chikkodi. Incumbent Prajwal Revanna, caught in an alleged sex scandal, lost his Hassan seat.

All of 27, Priyanka Jarkiholi has become the youngest tribal woman to enter Parliament from an unreserved seat in Karnataka since Independence. Former Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar of the BJP won from Belgaum, defeating Congress newcomer Mrunal Hebbalkar.

The Bengaluru cluster remained under the BJP's control.
