JDU A Sinking Ship, Will Face Big Defeat In Lok Sabha Elections, Says Prashant Kishor

Speaking at an event, Prashant Kishor said that Janata Dal (United) is set to face a big defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, which will be held next year.

Political strategist Prashant Kishor said on Wednesday that Janata Dal (United) is set to face a big defeat in the Lok Sabha elections, which will be held next year. Speaking at an event, Kishor claimed that the Nitish Kumar-led party is a sinking ship and that after the Lok Sabha elections, there will be a split in the party. He also said that JDU is in its final stage, which is why the leaders of the party are going to other parties.

Prashant Kishor recalled the prediction he made before the West Bengal elections, where he said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would not be able to win even 100 seats and the saffron party had only won 77 seats. He further stated that the JDU will not be able to win even five seats in the Lok Sabha Election 2024, and if his claim does not come true, then he will apologise to the people of Bihar with folded hands.

On being asked to which party Nitish Kumar can go, Kishor said that this is something that even Nitish Kumar himself cannot tell. Kishor said that Nitish Kumar has a different way of doing politics. The Chief Minister always has options. At present, the Grand Alliance is the door to his political house.

In August, Kishor said that there was no chance of Nitish Kumar getting the post of the INDIA bloc's convener. Launching an attack on his former JD (U) colleague Kumar, Prashant Kishor said that the Bihar CM's condition in his own state was so bad that he had no chance of leading the opposition bloc as its convener. "As far as the efforts by Nitish Kumar are concerned, his own condition is so bad that there is no guarantee of his foothold in his own state. What can he do for opposition unity at the national level?" he asked.
