Earlier today, AAP MP Sanjay Singh and some other party leaders were stopped outside the residence of Delhi CM. Singh had invited the media for a tour of Kejriwal's residence amid BJP's crticism against Kejriwal for making a "sheesh mahal" during his tenure as the CM.
Singh held a presser along with Delhi minister Saurabh Bharadwaj where he said the AAP leaders will go to the official residence of Delhi CM at the 6 Flagstaff Road in the Civil Lines area of the city.
Bharadwaj also said during the press conference that the official residence of the Prime Minister should also be seen. However, when they were denied entry to the CM's residence, both the leaders staged a sit-in protest outside the premises.
The Election Commission announced that the Delhi Assembly election will be held in a single phase on February 5 and the results would be declared on January 8.
