'Phir Ek Baar...': BJP Releases LS Poll Campaign Anthem As Part Of Mass Outreach Efforts
The anthem, meant to be the party’s war cry for the upcoming elections, was released in 24 different Indian languages to cater to the public across the length and breadth of the country.
Ahead of the crucial Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the BJP has released a campaign anthem: 'Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar' during the National Council meeting at Bharat Mandapam on Sunday. The anthem, meant to be the party’s war cry for the upcoming elections, was released in 24 different Indian languages to cater to the public across the length and breadth of the country.
The song emphasizes the theme of inclusive development across various sectors, regions, and different sections of society, as asserted by the PM Modi government. "Various aspects have been highlighted in the anthem - work done for farmers, unorganised labourers, women, youth, unprecedented infrastructure and financial growth of the country, unparalleled achievements such as the Chandrayaan-3 mission, construction of the Ram Mandir among others," a party statement said.
The BJP's campaign slogan, 'Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar,' was introduced by party president JP Nadda earlier in January this year.
The song comes amid Prime Minister Narendra Modi's campaigning across states for the Lok Sabha elections.
PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh where he inaugurated a series of developmental projects. He has stressed that the BJP government had struck off Article 370 to pave the way to seek 370 seats in the upcoming elections.
The opposition, however, is strengthening its alliance by announcing seat-sharing for different states. Earlier on Wednesday, the Congress and SP announced seat sharing in UP with Rahul Gandhi's party contesting on 17 seats while Akhilesh Yadav's party will contest on remaining 63 seats. The Congress party is also on the verge of formally announcing its alliance with the AAP for seven seats in Delhi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the Congress, saying the party has no agenda except abusing him. "But this attitude will only strengthen the resolve to win more than 400 seats for the BJP-led NDA in the upcoming polls," he said.
