Andhra Pradesh: TDP-Janasena Alliance Announces First List Of 118 Candidates For Assembly Polls
According to the first list released by the alliance, TDP candidates are set to contest in 94 constituencies, while Janasena will field candidates in 24 seats.
TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan made an announcement unveiling a unified list of 118 candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. Notably, the initial list disclosed that TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu would be contesting from the Kuppam Assembly constituency. In Andhra Pradesh, the Assembly polls are expected to coincide with the Lok Sabha elections slated for April-May 2024.
Based on the first list, the two leaders said that the seat allocation was done by keeping in mind the accommodation of BJP if the party decides to join the alliance.
