Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections: Exit Polls Divided, Predict Neck-And-Neck Contest Between NDA, YSRCP

Exit Polls Results: In 2019 Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections, YSRCP recorded a massive victory bagging 151 of 175 seats while TDP was reduced to 23 seats.

Exit Polls Results: Andhra Pradesh eagerly awaits the results of its Assembly elections, exit polls from regional channels and agencies present a divided projection for the outcome, with predictions split between a victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).

Aarsa Poll Strategies Private Limited, a well-regarded polling agency, has forecast that the YSRCP, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, will retain power by securing between 94 and 104 seats in the 175-member Assembly. The agency has allocated 71 to 81 seats to the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance. Sheik Mastan, founder and chairman of Aarsa, stated that the YSRCP is likely to achieve a vote share of 49.41 percent, while the TDP-led alliance might garner 47.55 percent of the votes. Notably, Aarsa's previous exit polls for the Telangana Assembly elections were nearly accurate, bolstering their credibility. Mastan also noted that the YSRCP has garnered more support from women voters than men, as reported by IANS.

Additionally, Aarsa's projections for the Lok Sabha seats indicate that the YSRCP may win 13 to 15 out of 25 seats, with the TDP-led alliance expected to secure 10 to 12 seats.

Alma Sakshi SAS has also projected a win for the YSRCP, predicting that the party will secure between 98 and 116 seats, while the NDA might win between 59 and 77 seats.

Conversely, Smart Poll has forecasted a narrow race between the YSRCP and the NDA, predicting 93 seats for the NDA and 80 seats for the YSRCP.

People's Pulse, another prominent polling agency, has projected a sweeping victory for the TDP-led alliance. According to their predictions, the TDP alone is expected to win between 95 and 110 seats, with its ally Jana Sena winning 14 to 20 seats, and the BJP securing around 25 seats. People's Pulse has forecast that the YSRCP will win between 45 and 60 seats, with a 44 percent vote share, while the NDA alliance is expected to secure a 52 percent vote share.

In the 2019 Assembly Elections, YSRCP recorded a massive victory bagging 151 of 175 Assembly seats and  49.95 per cent vote share. The TDP gained 23 seats with 39.17 per cent vote share.
