Vizianagaram: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati from Telugu Desam Party (TDP) won the elections by a margin of 106911 votes. The polling / voting in Vizianagaram constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 1 on 11 April. The major contest is between Telugu Desam Party#s Ashok Gajapathi Raju and YSR Congress Party#s Bellani Chandrasekhar
