Srinagar: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Tariq Hameed Karra from Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (JKPDP) won the elections by a margin of 42280 votes. The polling / voting in Srinagar constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between People's Democratic Party#s Aga Syed Mohsin and Jammu & Kashmir National Conference#s Farooq Abdullah

Here, Jammu & Kashmir National Conference leader Omer Abdullah attained 55542 votes and Independent candidate Mebooba Mufti bagged 18683 votes
