Paschim Champaran: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 110254 votes. The polling / voting in Paschim Champaran constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal and Rashtriya Janata Dal#s Vibha Devi

Paschim Champaran 2014 Lok Sabha Polls

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 22 out of the 40 parliamentary seat with 29.4 percent vote share while the Lok Janshakti Party managed to win just 6 seats with a 6.4 percent vote share.

Voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Paschim Champaran Lok Sabha Lok Sabha constituency. The total voter turnout was 60.49% Lok Sabha percent with 60.98% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Out of the 12 Lok Sabha candidates who contested the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Paschim Champaran, 10 had to deposit their security. The voters gave their mandate in favour of Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal of the Bharatiya Janta Party as he defeated Prakash Jha by a margin of 110254 votes.

The state of Sikkim is electing its eighth Legislative Assembly. Assembly polls in Sikkim were held simultaneous to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, on April 11 for which the counting of votes will take place today. The state has one Lok Sabha seat and 32 Assembly seats.
