Namakkal: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Sundaram P.R from All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) won the elections by a margin of 294374 votes. The polling / voting in Namakkal constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam#s P. Kaliappan and Kongunadu Makkal Desia Katchi#s Chinnraj
Namakkal 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won 37 out of the 39 parliamentary seat with 44.3 percent vote share while the Bharatiya Janata Party managed to win just 1 seats with a 5.5 percent vote share.
