Hatkanangle: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Raju Shetty from Socialist Workers Party (India) (SWP) won the elections by a margin of 177810 votes. The polling / voting in Hatkanangle constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Shiv Sena#s Dhairyashil Mane and Swabhimani Paksha#s Raju Shetty

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

• 1971 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fifth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated PWP candidate by a margin of 84991 votes INC candidate Dattatraya Baburao Kadam had got 227363 while PWP got Tryambak Seetaram Karkhanis votes.
• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, PWP candidate defeated INC candidate with a difference of 44277 votes. Here, PWP leader M. V. R. C. Bhosale attained 189415 votes and INC candidate S. P. T. Thorat bagged 145138 votes
• 1962 Lok Sabha Elections: In Third Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated REP candidate by a margin of 99683 votes INC candidate Krishnaji Laxman More had got 164585 while REP got Dadasaheb Malhararao Shirke votes.
