Dindigul: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Udhaya Kumar .M from All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) won the elections by a margin of 127845 votes. The polling / voting in Dindigul constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Pattali Makkal Katchi#s K. Jyothi and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam#s P Velusamy
Dindigul 2014 Lok Sabha PollsIn the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won 37 out of the 39 parliamentary seat with 44.3 percent vote share while the Bharatiya Janata Party managed to win just 1 seats with a 5.5 percent vote share.

- 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate defeated TMC(M) candidate with a difference of 15199 votes.
