In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 25 out of the 25 parliamentary seat with 54.9 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just seats with a 30.4 percent vote share.

• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 37377 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Shrichand Kriplani attained 411275 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Udai Lal Anjana bagged 373898 votes
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 25377 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Udai Lal Anjana attained 399666 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Jaswant Singh bagged 374289 votes
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 47843 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Jaswant Singh attained 240840 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Gulab Singh Shaktawat bagged 192997 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defeated Indian National Congress candidate with a difference of 18418 votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Jaswant Singh attained 256166 votes and Indian National Congress candidate Mahendra Singh Mewar bagged 237748 votes
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha poll, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, BJP candidate Mahendra Singh attained 397056 votes and INC's Nirmala Kumari bagged 205318 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate by a margin of 76389 votes INC candidate Nirmla Kumari had got 226717 while BJP got Hari Krishan votes.
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JNP candidate with a difference of 34637 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader Nrimala Kumari attained 172846 votes and JNP candidate Virdhi Chand bagged 138209 votes

• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated BJS candidate with a difference of 35101 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader O. L. Bohra attained 117821 votes and BJS candidate B. N. Sharma bagged 82720 votes
