Baramati: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Supriya Sule from Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) won the elections by a margin of 69719 votes. The polling / voting in Baramati constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 3 on 23 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Mrs. Kanchan Rahul Kul and Nationalist Congress Party#s Supriya Sule

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 23 out of the 48 parliamentary seat with 27.3 percent vote share while the Shiv Sena managed to win just 18 seats with a 20.6 percent vote share.

• 1999 Lok Sabha Elections: In 13th Lok Sabha election, Nationalist Congress Party candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, NCP candidate Pawar Sharadchandra Govindrao attained 510928 votes and BJP's Dr Pratibha Lokhande bagged 212025 votes.
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Pawar Sharadchandra Govindrao attained 529059 votes and BJP's Kakade Viraj Babulal bagged 260875 votes.
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha poll, Indian National Congress candidate defated Independent candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Pawar Sharadchandra Govindrao attained 427589 votes and IND's Patil Shankarrao Bajirao bagged 267088 votes.
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate in one-sided contest. Here, INC candidate Ajit Annatrao Pawar attained 437293 votes and BJP's Pratibha Lokhande (W) bagged 101030 votes.

• 1967 Lok Sabha Elections: In Fourth Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated RPI candidate by a margin of 94573 votes INC candidate T. S. Jadhav had got 166392 while RPI got B. D. Kamble votes.
